Recent Work

Dr. Muller is an Assistant Professor of Family and Community Medicine with SIU School of Medicine, and the associate director of the Southern Illinois University (SIU) Quincy Sports Medicine Fellowship program. He currently teaches PA students, medical students, Family Medicine residents, and Sports Medicine fellows with the Quincy Family Medicine Residency of SIU School of Medicine. In addition to his teaching responsibilities, he works staffing Blessing Hospital’s Be Well at Work site providing worker’s compensation and sports medicine coverage. The SIU Quincy Sports Medicine Team provides coverage for local high schools along with Quincy University and Culver-Stockton College.

Dr. Muller is board certified by the American Board of Family Medicine with added certifications in sports medicine.  He also has been certified in advanced cardiac, advanced trauma and pediatric advanced life support.  He is a member of the American Academy of Family Practice and completed a fellowship with the association. His other memberships are the American Medical Society for Sports Medicine, American College of Sports Medicine and American Board of Family Practice.

Born in Margaretville, N.Y., Dr. Muller and his wife have two girls, two boys and six grandchildren. Prior to becoming a physician, he was a member of the United States Air Force.
