Recent Work

Yi Zhao is a Ph.D. student in Nutrition Epidemiology and Data Science at Friedman School of Nutrition at Tufts University. She has a substantial research interest in deriving causal relationship between nutrition and cognitive impairment in the aging population. She is also interested in establishing a gene-diet-cognitive decline network using advanced statistical and machine learning approaches. Before Tufts, Yi received a master’s degree in Global Health from Duke University and worked on the Global Burden of Disease project at the Institute for Health Metrics and Evaluation at University of Washington in Seattle.
